Howdy, I’m “Amish” Jim Schulze and I’m a Man With a Thousand Dreams. Some might see this as a bucket list of things to do before you die, but I see it as doing things to live. I’ve let anxiety hold me back a lot of my life and it’s time to break those chains that bind me. I have lived a good life full of adventure and happiness, don’t get me wrong. On the other side of the coin there’s a lot that I haven’t done.

[Dream] Learn to Play Bass Guitar

None of us wanted to be the bass player. In our minds he was the

fat guy who always played at the back – Paul McCartney.

Years ago on a trip to Nashville I bought a Dean Stylist Custom Cabbie at a Pawn Shop. The guy said it belonged to Billy Ray’s bass player, but, I doubt he would have pawned it at that level. I just liked the big look of it. Now, if I could only like the sound of it or even make a sound with it. I figured a bass would be easier to to learn than guitar, which I have previously failed to learn. Hopefully Rocksmith 2014 can help. I’ll try the 60 Day Challenge. I’ll also add learn guitar to this. I bought an Epiphone SG Pro for that excursion.
